In case you were wondering... CBS notified the affiliates this week that the US Bank Championship in Milwaukee would not be broadcast in HD.

Maybe its because WDJT-TV does not have any HD Cameras and other equipment to supply to the network.  I assume that when networks do any coverage in the Southeastern Wisconsin area the local TV station who is affiliated with that network furnishes the supplies and equipment to make the broadcast possible.

No that isn't the problem.  The networks either have their own trucks and cameras or rent them from a production company.  Sounds like there was a scheduling conflict or that someone listed the program as HD when it really wasn't on the production schedule.  Otherwise there would never have been any live Baseball from Miller Park as no local station has the cameras and production equipment to do a LIVE HD TELECAST.
