other members in your general area are repoting as high as 90's.. you should be getting a signal.. I would suggest taking a look at your connections, any splitters, lossy cables, or reaiming your antenna.. if you have decent clearance for your antenna you should be able to get 6 with a very nice signal...

Bubba I have to agree with borghe, I'm at about 68th and Oklahoma I receive rock solid signals from all channels including 6-1 (when it's on) and 18-1

Checking the connections from the back of your set all the way to roof is the first step I would try.

Still waiting here in northern Illinois for channel 6 Fox to get it together digitally (no signal at all).  NBC and ABC looking good, CBS channel 58 fair.

...let's power it up, guys!!

Still no dice. The Samsung tries to lock a signal but can't.

Here in Waterford, even though I can get up to 63% signal at times, I just can't hold a picture.  It's really strange because I can turn my antenna to Chicago and get 35% of Channel 32's digital station (32-1) and hold a picture to some degree where I can't at 63% for Channel 6.

Before They went down, I was holding a steady 64% with little change, since they came backup up, I'm all over the board.  Just not a steady signal.

Well... I'm at 1st & Mitchell St. on the southside. Zip Code 53204. Couldn't get Fox before, but I can now !!!! I have the Samsung TS-160 STB and the Radio Shack indoor HD antenna w/ double helix resonators. I get a solid 69% with a drop to 45% for a few moments every once in a great while. I haven't had but a couple breakups. Very solid picture and sound. I tried to watch North Shore and The Casino to see Fox widescreen in action. No go tonight. Although they tried. There was a white screen and some text in 16:9 as well as a few seconds of the begining of North Shore. They soon gave up and it was 4:3 for the rest of the night. It almost seemed like it was a problem with the Fox feed although it could have been Fox 6's equipment. Overall I'm very happy with what I've seen so far. Kudos to Fox 6 for getting it up and running on the main tower. It's made a world of difference. Now all they have left to do is get the HD feed going and boost power so that our members out in the sticks can pick up the signal.

Awful strange that we can all of a sudden pick up Fox on the nite of the All-Star game.  Coincidence?  I think not!

Denno,

I have been playing around with my setup in this thread:

http://www.milwaukeehdtv.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3654

I'm also from 53092.  I ended up upgrading to a fringe UHF antenna with RG6 and no splitters.  I still have trouble with the signal in less than perfect weather.  Last night there was fairly strong wind during the early parts of the All Star game which degraded my signal to an unwatchable level.  Later on I figured out I could tilt the antenna upwards to try and take signals from above the tree line.  This seemed to work, but the wind was weaker by the time I came up with a solution so it's hard to say if it would have worked under strong winds.

My point is, you might want to play around a bit if you are interested in being ready for the Packer season.  That or join the Borg oops I mean Time Warner Cable.

Good luck to you,

Starving
