DISH Delivers Big Cricket Match

EchoStar's DISH Network will broadcast the historic India vs. Pakistan cricket tour on DISH On Demand pay-per-view. The tournament will begin March 12 at 11:30 p.m. Eastern and continue through Saturday, April 17. The tournament, to be held in Pakistan, will mark the first time in 15 years the two teams have met on Pakistani soil.

More Channels for VOOM - Satellite high-def service VOOM added more channels to its program offerings thanks to a deal NBC Cable Networks. The new nets include Bravo HD-Plus, Bravo, MSNBC and CNBC. VOOM customers have access to more than 30 HD channels and more than 75 standard-definition channels.

Another Music Choice Concert! - Music Choice said it will air an exclusive concert featuring performances by both Indigo Girls and Keb' Mo'. Music Choice has partnered with entertainment retailer FYE to promote the concert. The event will air through March 14 in 32 million cable households and throughout the month to more than 12 million DirecTV households.

RFD-TV Delivers FCC Forum - RFD-TV, the network dedicated to rural TV viewers and agriculture available on DirecTV and EchoStar's DISH Network, is showing the Federal Communications Commission's recent Rural Satellite Forum throughout March. The four-hour forum will be broadcast in sequential order in one-hour time slots during the next three Mondays of the month. On March 8, the network will feature the public safety component of the forum, on March 15 will be USDA funding issues, and March 22 will focus on information, the Internet and mass media.
