ABC messed up tonight's prime time HD pleanty

Tonight's episode of According to Jim apparently arrived "late" according to WISN Master Control, and was therefore not available in HD.  I'm not sure how I feal about that since I was under the impression the episodes are filmed in HD, so the SD feed comes from the HD... so how can the HD not be available...?  In any case, since it's this season's christmas special, it likely will not re-air in HD any time soon unless they do a christmas rerun session like they did with the thanksgiving episodes (*crossing fingers*).

Then someone at ABC HQ was asleep and let the first 3mins of Less than Perfect air in 4:3.  It seemed rather apparent that WISN was switching back and forth between SD and HD trying to get the WS feed to show up.  They also completely neglected to air any end credits, as it snapped straight into Line of Fire.

And to top it off, 50mins into Line of Fire, while going into a commercial break, the image went wonky on the fade out.  Then the episode came back on they let over 4mins of the show air in 4:3 before switching back to HD again.

:bang:

*sigh*.  This is after several weeks of mistake free broadcasting by WISN.  I am currious how much of it was local problems and what was relaly the fault of ABC HQ.

Anyway, here's to waiting for re-runs. :drink:
