Yesterday, our own uplinkguy posted a tip I'll quote below:
QuoteCan't give the specifics, but if you want to watch the bar scene from a cheesehead hometown somewhat related to the #17....
Dewalt tools come to mind as well....

Sunday, 2:30 to 4:00 cst. Gal 3c ku, trans. 15, 11985.5 h, 13.0228 symbol rate, 3/4 FEC. 4:2:2 video compression.
Not really understanding (and not wanting to show my ignorance) I didn't drill in for specifics.

In anticipation of getting my FTA system, I subscribed to a bunch of wildfeed lists ... here's the text of one of them:
QuoteSports Bar feed from Matt Kenseths Home Town - G3C - 15 (H) Ku-Band

11986MHz
Horizontal
SR13015
VPID3601
APIDs3604/3605
PCRPID3601

So, Andy, is this what you were feeding ?? ;)

uplinkguy

yep, I guess some people take this stuff seriously tracking all this.

I'll have to remember that the next time I scratch my butt when walking in front of the camera.

what are some of the lists you subscribe to?

On monday I was in a car armouring plant in Chicago for cnbc.  The signal was up all day.   Due to some of the government projects they build, we couldn't point the camera in certain directions, I guess there are people watching.

oops, got an itch...

Andy,

The Yahoo! groups that I subscribe to are 'backhaul' and 'sportsfeeds' ... I don't know of any others, yet.

So, If you're ever in the Milwaukee area, I know I'd be interested in seeing how you do your job ... perhaps others, too.

Is that something you might like to share with us ??? ;)

uplinkguy

I don't know when I'll be in the neighborhood with the office soon.  I'll be in Des Moines saturday for msnbc with the democrats.

Next time I have warning, I'll let you know.
