Milwaukee's earnest radio-TV reporter is back from his monthly maintenance tour.  Another 12 day sabbatical.  I would love this much paid vacation.

I will add that I exxagerate about him being on "vacation".  It could be he travels a lot to Hollywood to interview, etc working on his columns.  I don't know. But if he really is lazy and feels like writing a column when he wants to...boy I surely would love to have his job!

Holy Crap! Those guys are just brutal...  We've had our share of Tim-bashing here, but I'm glad that, lately, we've been able to keep the discourse here on more civil level than that!

Man!

Brutal:confused:  More like a bloody frenzy in a pool of piranhas.

There's really no reason for that.  I hope some of these guys keep that kind of stuff off this board!

Just in case, I had to look up "piranhas" in the dikshunary  :D

Ya hafta understand the psychology of the guys over on the radio boards.

There are no Bob Reitmans, Jon Belmonts or Mark Bellings among the people who regularly post. With the exception of an occasional post by a credible radio professional who jumps in from time to time just tell them all that they're a bunch of crybaby idiots, the majority are either unemployed or are overnight weekenders,  promotion assistants, interns or college station dj wannabes.

And there isn't a one of them that wouldn't sell their soul to the devil to get a job that would give THEM 4 weeks of vacation a year... heck many of them would be happy to have a radio gig that would give them an annual salary equal what some of the most talented radio pros MAKE in 4 weeks! ;)

But they'll keep working awful hours for minimum wage (or even for free) just to be "in  radio."

The attacks on Tim are just jealousy. He really handled it well, I thought.
