Conan and Letterman in HD?

Has anbody heard anything about when Conan and Letterman are to go HD? It was announced for both back in Jan. of this year. Letterman made jokes about it. He mentioned the new HD cameras on air when they got them over his week vacation. He joked that they are HD but they're not broadcasting in HD right now. That was months ago! Both shows have been using their HD cameras for SD now for months.  Anybody see a peep as to what's up with that? When are they going HD?

Latest we've heard is that they now are both waiting for a next generation HD Video edit suite.
