Huges E86 bugs(?)

Hello...

I made this post on AVS forum and didn't get a lot of response so I thought I'd try here.  

I've recently purchased a HIRD-E86. Works great... Except for 3 things.

1. Channel creep. The favoites guide always re-adds the same channels after I've removed them. I understand that a software upgrade often fixes the problem. This leads me to my next issue.

2. When I look at the software update schedule it indicates that there is one at 2:59am. The next morning, no software update has taken place. I've even been watching TV at 2:59. The receiver pops-up a message saying 'Download will begin in 1 min'. After that min. 2 progress bars show up on the screen. However they never progressed (I stopped waiting after 10min).

3. Every morning the receiver indicates that it is updating the program guide. This will run forever unless I stop it. Once the 'Updating Program Guide' is stopped the receiver will work fine (with channel creep). The receiver is turned off about 12hrs. when I am gone for work. When I get home, the receiver works fine without the 'updating' message. But when it is off for 8 hours overnight, it comes back with the 'updating' message.

I haven't had any of these problems.. The only problem I have ever had is that the tuner will add channels to my favorites as they are added... I believe it was the ESPN Gameday channels that were added most recently...
