new pioneer box

hey guys I am very new to the world of hd. I just received a new pioneer box from twc. I want to change the aspect on the cable box but can't get into the menu. pressing the menu button doesn't work any help would be appreciated. the cs guy didn't know what I was talking about.

On my TWC remote it is the "Settings" button.  From there choose "More Settings".  Here you can setup the type of TV (16:9, 4:3)

Then

Use the "Bypass" button on the remote to scroll through the 3 settings.  This allows you to choose what to do if it's a 4:3 show - you can scroll through "Zoom" "Stretch" or "Sidebars (black bars on side"

Thanks I got it, for some reason I got the idea that I should be able to get into the menu. I also found out that if I enable the 480i on the cable box I can use my 4:3 expanded from my hitachi televison that I like more than the 4:3 stretch.
