Soundstage Out of Synch

Chris Isaak on Soundstage... Looks great. Sounds great (although not 5.1)... now all they need to do is match up the sound with picture!!! Grrrrrrrr....:mad:

My wife and I just watched it and it was fine here.  We are both highly annoyed by that so I think we would have noticed even a small sync problem.

I reset my DTC-100 a few times, and it still was off. Picture blacked out a few times, and the degree of out-of-synchness changed. Finally about 3/4 of the way throught it, it did it again, and synched up fine.

Problem must have been here.

The feed from TWC was out of sync, too.  Interestingly, not from the camera that was showing close ups as he was speaking.  The long shots were out - obvious when whatching the percussions and bass guitar.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing, only happening on the long shots.  Wasn't a broadcast problem.  At first I wondered if they were lip synching...

From what you guys described it sounds like PBS was having a problem at the uplink site.  Or it could be with how the show was edited together.
