I checked Titan TV's HD listing and they dont have ABC listed for carrying the game or anything in HD.  When you go to Thursday August 7 it shows ESPNHD carrying the giants game in HD.  So did they miss the monday game or is it not going to be shown in HD?

Please confirm because its a matter of working and watching the game at work or not working and enjoying the game at home on my 65"!

Where did you get youre information?  Because I even checked ABC's website and they are tagging their shows with an HD label.  Monday's game does not have that tag.  So if you could provide the site where you got youre info that would be great because I would like to use it as a future reference.

Thanx

It's been all over AVS for several weeks. One of the posters there is the director  of Telecommunications & Distribution Services for the network and he posted this:

ABC will air this season of MNF in HD (where available) beginning with the Hall of Fame Game.

Thanks for the heads up Tom.  The AVS is very helpful.  I am glad you showed me.  Looks like Im takin' off Monday.  Go PACK Go!

This game is listed as being in HDTV on the channel 12 website.  I am excited as well becasue this will be the first live sporting event broadcast in HDTV that I have seen.

Joel, you're going to love it. So far, I've seen basketball, tennis, golf, baseball, soccer, hockey, horse racing and auto racing. IMHO, sports is where HD really shines. I watch things now I never would have watched in the past on regular TV.

You guys are really Pissing me off!   We got hit by lightning early Friday Morning and my HD is out.  Got a service contract on the set but have yet to hear back from the local service agent for an appointment.  Looks like I won't see the game tonight.

BTW does anyone have any experience with Associated Electronics?   They are the local service agent for my warranty/service contract.

I'm out of warranty but have a maint. contract in force...that covers everything.  So I guess I have to use them as they are the agent for the store I bought it at.  It's 2 years old and I'm sorta hoping they can't fix it....because that means they'll have to give me a brand new 61" or better set of my choosing including OTA and Sat. receivers.

Here's hoping!

Good luck to you!  You should consider DLP or LCOS if you luck out.

Tom where is the HD.  Maybe looking at the source like ABC IS better than AVS and other heresay sights.

Well, I see a few of us have turned elsewhere.... What a disappointment.

Gregg, I feel your pain!!!! The OTA portion of my DTC went out this weekend! Watching it on the 19" computer screen. I went out and finally bought the 50 foot VGA cable so that I may put the video from the PC on the big screen... Uh Duh, I forgot about the audio.... I have an audio source from the DTC (Local channels via Satellite) but the audio does not line up........
