I got the TW DVR last week and have not stopped recording since.  I think it is great!  THe only problem is that I haven't watched my HD set in a week.  I had a great experience getting it from TW and the lady at the Mayfair office had it and was able to give me a couple of tips to set it up.  I give it two thumbs up !!:D

Let's hope the HD DVR that's coming out later this year is even cooler! :)

My TWC DVR every few days loses it memory and forgets what is in the program listings...this means it does not record what is to be recorded because there is a "No Data" listing in the DVR.
When I unplug the DVR and have it reboot, the program information on the channel info comes back, but by then the programmes to be recorded are past and nothing gets recorded.

How often have you had to "reboot" your machine?:bang:

I think I will buy a Tivo or pray for a quicker move-in to a house again, so I can get my DirecTivo usage back on line again if this continues!

Any suggestions?

I've been using one for months now and have never experienced what you describe.  It may be related to a hard drive or other hardware problem.  I suggest a DVR swap.
