An Idea for State Fair

With the Wisconsin State Fair coming up in August are they going to do the HDTV demonstration again like they did last year???

By that time Milwaukee should have WMVT-DT ch. 35 on the air and they plan to strictly offer High Definition Programming 24 hours a day, and no regular uplink, strictly all hi-def.  This way at the demonstration they could have a TV there tuned to WMVT-DT at all times and everyone would be able to see true Hi-Def.

Maybe this year the forum leadership (um, I mean me :blush: ) can get off his dead center and get t-shirts going ...

How does $9 a piece sound ? A friend here at my office can press them with a t-shirt press he owns with "iron-on" type transfers.

I can mock something up if we get enough interest (perhaps 10+ forum members ??)

$9 sounds fine with me -- Count me in as interested.  However, I don't know if I'll be actually going to State Fair, but I'd love to have a shirt that promotes the site.

Surely I will buy a t-shirt.  If there will be something about HDTV there, count me in. The only reason I would goto State Fair. It will be nice to meet Todd or anyone there.

I think thats a great idea. We should set a day at the fair or something, and set up a meeting place. In the very beginning a bunch of us got together to discuss the whole website/HDTV group  hobbyist thing, but since have never really gotten back together. State Fair might be a great way to meet the people behind the avatars.

Sigmund Snopek and Andrea Terek (The Bluebirds) are friends of my wife (Michelle) and I. Typically, they play a couple of weekend sets at Saz's during State Fair .... I'll post their schedule as soon as it comes out and see if we can all meet there.

We love their music/comedy; I hope you all will too !

Count me in, too. Out of town for most of the Fair run this year, but would love to be sportin' a logo up in da Boundarywaters. Ya think they got dat HD up dere, hey?
