PROGRAMMING: DirecTV Adds Local Univision TV

DirecTV Adds Local Univision Programming - This week,
DirecTV added Univision's local Spanish-language
channel Telefutura in four markets it serves with
local TV packages. Cities getting the station's
are: West Palm Beach, which will receive Miami's
WAMI; San Diego, which will get Los Angeles'
KFTR; Baltimore, which will have access to
Washington, D.C.'s WFDC; and Milwaukee, which
will get Chicago's WXFT.

*Satellite TV Delivers More NBA in HD - NBA TV,
the league's 24-hour television network, will
televise the Minnesota Timberwolves at Seattle
SuperSonics matchup on Tuesday, March 4, in HDTV.
The game will be offered in the TV format to
DirecTV and DISH Network HDTV subscribers. DirecTV
will carry the game on channel 198, while DISH
Network customers can view the game on channel
9425. The satellite TV providers said they are
offering the HDTV game at no additional charge.

*Six Feet Under Returns - On Sunday, HBO's Original
Series "Six Feet Under" returns for its third
season. The first of 13 new episodes will air
at 9 p.m. Eastern Time.

*Starz Prepares for Busy March - In March, STARZ!
presents the television premiere of the animated
hit film "Monsters, Inc." - featuring the voices
of Billy Crystal and John Goodman. The premium
channel also will offer "Stars on STARZ!," featuring
three films from Josh Hartnett – "Pearl Harbor,"
"Black Hawk Down," and "40 Days and 40 Nights."

I cancelled Stars because they will not go with HDTV in the nearest future.

I guess I 'll have to check out Ray Allen in HD tonight.

Also, in the DirecTV newsletter, Starz is free this weekend (3/7-3/9)
