Interesting as the spec I had read on this camera (including those in the JVC press release) claim that the camera can only record 720p/750p at only 30fps, and not the 60fps as quoted in this article.

Still, being able to record at a true widescreen 480p would be great in inself!  Alas no way can I afford one at $3,500.

I wonder if this would work?
  "But honey, I need to camera to record a new baby in glorious high definition..."  

Unfortunately her response would be:
  "... and what about that camera you bought a year or so back.  You've yet to edit anything taken with that!"

I used that excuse with my wife(baby) and i ended up with a digital 8.LOL
