Note: There were special new HD versions produced for 13 Outdoor Wisconsin programs, numbered 101-113. I will try to get program descriptions for you, when they become available.

Show # HD 101  "Trout & Salmon/Stained Glass/Snowshoe Baseball"
Dan Small fishes for Lake Michigan trout and salmon with Outdoor
Wisconsin 2001 banquet high bidder Mike Rynearson and charter Captain
Dan Welsch. Tess Gallum visits with stained glass artists Bob & Mary
Krauski, and finds out how wildlife and nature inspires their creations.
Tony Wood takes part in a popular snowshoe baseball game in Lake
Tomahawk.

Show # HD 102  "Steelhead/Weavings/Lake Trout Oceanic Study"
Dan Small fly fishes for steelhead on the Pigeon River. Claudia Looze
visits with Mary Burns in her Mercer, WI, studio, where Mary
demonstrates how she creates her weavings which are inspired by the
landscapes in the north woods area. The oceanic explorer on Lake
Michigan is joined for its study of the lake trout population.

Show # HD 103  "Deer Research/Christmas Trees/Pheasant Hunt"
Dan Small joins a team from Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School as they
trap and tag deer in a research project in Shawano County. Tess Gallun
shows how to cut and care for a Christmas tree, and Dan hunts pheasants
at Cadens Kennel and Hunt Club with Outdoor Wisconsin banquet high
bidder Mark Steimke and his stepson, Nick Wojdacz.

Show # HD 104 "Steelhead Fishing/Chainsaw Woodcarver/Milw. River
Study"
Dan Small fly fishes for steelhead on the Pike River in Kenosha County.
Tess Gallun takes a look at the techniques and works of chainsaw
woodcarver Bob Younger. Dan catches up with an outdoor environmental
education class from Shorewood High School, as they paddle down the
Milwaukee River, studying the waterway, the environment, and their
surroundings.
   
Show # HD 105  "Xtreme Adventure Racing/Garden Materials for
Wreaths/Turkey Hunt"
Dan Small talks with Mike Polzin, from Mid-America Xtreme Adventure
Racing, about this exciting sport. Debby Wolniak tours the garden of
Phoebe Parsons, where they identify and gather natural materials used
for making wreaths. Dan Small hunts for turkey in Buffalo County with
Bill Wiese.

Show # HD 106  "Pheasant Hunt/Big Guy Hats/Wreaths"
Dan Small hunts pheasants at Royal Flush Pheasant Hunts near De Forest
with club owner Keith Gilbertson and Sports Afield editor Chris Dorsey.
Dan visits Jeff Kahlow of Fond du Lac, creator of Big Guy Hats. Debby
Wolniak makes wreaths out of natural materials that were gathered from
Phoebe Parsons' garden.

Show # HD 107   "Shooting Clays/YMCA's Alpine Tower/Fish Fry"
Dan Small begins a series of sporting clays shooting lessons with Dave
Fiedler at the Highlands Sportsman's Club in Cascade, WI. Tess Gallun
talks with Jennifer Lawton about the alpine tower, constructed at the
YMCA--a tower that is not only an "outdoor playground" that promotes
physical fitness, but also focuses on building trust and teamwork. Tom
Newbauer prepares his favorite outdoor fish fry recipe.  

Show # HD 108  "Steelhead/Blanding Turtle Study/Shooting Clays"
Dan Small spey fishes for steelhead on the Milwaukee River with fly
fishing expert Rob Estlund. Nancy Frank gets a update from Gary Casper,
of the Milwaukee Public Museum, on his radio-collared blanding turtle
study. Dan Small continues his series on sporting clays shooting lessons
with Dave Fiedler at the Highlands Sportsman's Club in Cascade, WI.

Show # HD 109  "Bamboo Fly Rods/Tube Jigs/Shooting Clays"
Gene Novak demonstrates for Dan Small how he designs and makes custom
bamboo fly rods from scratch. Tom Newbauer fishes with Eric Catlin and
shows types, styles, and techniques using tube jigs on Oconomowoc Lake.
Dan Small continues his sporting clays shooting lessons at the Highlands
sportsmen's Club with instructor Dave Feidler.  

Show # HD 110   "Habitat Restoration/Round Gobies/Shooting Clays"
Dan Small tours a habitat restoration project on Rush Lake in Winnebago
County. Dan joins DNR biologist Tim Kroeff and a team from the Great
Lakes Water Institute as they search for round gobies, an invasive fish
species, in Sturgeon Bay. Dan continues his shotgun lessons with
instructor Dave Fiedler at the Highlands Sportsmen's Club.  

Show # HD 111   "Duck Hunt/Urban Ecology Center/Inline Skating"
Dan Small hunts for ducks on Rush Lake with Chris Peshek, of Northern
Environmental, and Rush Lake resident Ken Merk. Tess Gallun visits the
Urban Ecology Center and explores how the center connects urban dwellers
to the natural environment within their neighborhoods. Debby Wolniak
takes a look at inline skating equipment and safety, and talks with a
few rollerblading enthusiasts at the Milwaukee lakefront.

Show # HD 112  "Carp/Electric Boats/Pheasant Hunt"
Dan Small fly fishes for carp in Door County with Pat Ehlers of the Fly
Fishers in Milwaukee. Debby Wolniak finds out about the design and
history of electric boats. Dan hunts pheasants with Greg Jalensky and Al
Benson at the Halter Wildlife Conservancy in Kenosha County.

Show # HD 113    "Coast Guard Ice Cutter/Herons/Wetlands Conservancy"
Dan Small joins a Coast Guard ice cutter in Sturgeon Bay, WI. Debby
Wolniak visits a heron rookery in Cedarburg to peek in on young herons
and their parents. Dan tours the Des Plaines Wetlands Conservancy in
Kenosha County with volunteer naturalist Phil Sanders.
