Hello.

I wonder if business will pick back up when/if ATSC 3 gets rolling.

No Whole House DVR? What year is this?

Maybe it will happen sooner. I saw a Spectrum truck driving around in Brown Deer yesterday.

On/Off Topic Chit-Chat / Maxx Coming to SE Wisconsin
Wednesday May 25, 2016, 07:36:55 AM
A Vue ?: Do you get FSNN/WI or, more specifically, Brewers games?

My parents recently went the same route & they live in SW WI but did not get FSNN/WI. They got CSN Chicago & Cubs/Sox stuff. They also signed up for CBS All Access since CBS is totally absent from Vue.

On/Off Topic Chit-Chat / What is a TWC loop?
Thursday Jul 10, 2014, 08:43:43 AM
I switched to Uverse back before TWC had NFL Network & I still have no interest in returning.

TWC's terrible boxes & software drove me over the edge.

Uverse does have some limitations but they don't really affect me.

I can stream in HD & online game with no problem.

I don't watch TV live except for sports & there are a decent number of west coast feeds & a ton of cable show re-airs so the stream limit is rarely a problem.

HD picture quality seems good to me.

I check TWC every so often to see if they can recreate what I have with AT&T for a much better price. Nope. Their prices for their crappy hardware ruin all the "deals".

Milwaukee HDTV Programming / NFL Network coming to TW
Friday Sep 21, 2012, 06:58:01 PM
Prices will go up & providers will continue to lose subs but adding NFL Network has very little to do with either.

Quote from: tencom;58823One more point the NFL network is half owned  by the FOX television Network
No, you're thinking of Big Ten Network.

I don't have TWC anymore but when I did I had a setup like yours.

I got TMJ & its subs in the 4s, Fox & its subs in the 6s, ABC & its subs in the 12s, PBS & its subs in the 10s & 36s, & CBS & its subs in the 58s.

The 58s liked to drop out if the cable came just a little bit loose so be sure to follow brewtownska's advice too.

Latest News / Finally! WMLW in HD Coming to TWC! (In March)
Thursday Feb 23, 2012, 08:00:52 AM
Quote from: morning traffic;58315No Brewer games will be on WMLW this season from what I heard, regardless of the HD upgrade.
Link? I'm a huge Brewers fan & I haven't heard that.

edit: Looks like it's true

Milwaukee HDTV Programming / WMLW HD Coming to TWC
Saturday Feb 18, 2012, 11:47:30 AM
Quote from: Tivoman44;58292This may be a dumb question, but does that mean 41.1 and 58.2 will broadcast them in HD as well?
I'd bet 41.1 goes HD but 58.2 stays SD.

Latest News / Finally! WMLW in HD Coming to TWC! (In March)

It will be nice to finally see the Crew in HD on WMLW in something other than MLBN highlights or lookins.  Buh bye screen door SD.

My Samsung 3270 box ran as well as my 8300HD except it had 2x the space.

The 8300HDC I got to replace a dead 8300HD was always slow & terrible.

Milwaukee HDTV Programming / HBO GO and MAX GO for TWC!
Wednesday Jan 11, 2012, 03:48:29 PM
Enjoy The Wire. I started after I switched to Uverse in November & just finished S4 last night.

That doesn't make any sense because they have Cisco/Samsung boxes with double the space but are not for whole house. The whole house boxes have even bigger 500GB drives.

I'd just exchange your 8300 as "broken". They have to give you something to replace it.
