The Zenith Silver Sensor indoor antenna gets great reviews. I live in Summit but I have an antenna mounted outside on my deck, works great. I'm 29 miles from towers according to Antennaweb.org.

Tonight I was watching MNF on ABC (via my OTA antenna) in HD, hooked up to my Dish Network 811 HD receiver. I was hearing loud intermittent clicking or popping noises during game. Did anyone notice this? I'm wondering if it was an ABC problem, or a problem with my HD receiver? Thanks.

I am using Dish Network's 811 HD receiver to also tune my OTA channels from Milwaukee. A little while ago I was checking what was on OTA channels, and I could not pick up ANY of the digital channels. Only the analog channels came in. This has never happened before, and I was wondering if it has ever happened to anyone else? What could cause this, it doesn't make sense?
I will check again later to see if it's still happening. Thanks for any advice.

I could not get CBS digital tonight either. But, I am receiving analog 58. CBS digital is still 46 right?

Mike, you are not missing much. I have TNT-HD with Dish Network, and most of the programming is upconverted and looks like crap compared to the other HD programming. Sorry.

Thanks guys. Borghe, where are you getting that information about what games will be in HD? Is there a website I can check out?

Does anyone know if the Bears/Vikings game will be broadcast Sunday? If so, will it be in HD? Where are listings such as this found in advance, especially if in HD? Thanks.

Milwaukee HDTV Technical Issues / Fox' lousy signal
Saturday Sep 18, 2004, 09:22:27 PM
Did Fox change something with their digital antenna in the last couple days? I can no longer pick up Fox digital(it's been coming in very good the last month or more). Perfect timing Fox, with football season here.

Milwaukee HDTV Technical Issues / Attenuator

When you look at a TV signal, how do you know if you have too much gain or not enough? I'm having trouble picking up all the channels I had prior to going from 1 to 3 TV's, and Fox digital isn't even coming in anymore.

Milwaukee HDTV Technical Issues / OTA antenna & 3 TV's
Saturday Sep 18, 2004, 09:12:49 PM
Thanks Gregg. Is it a problem that the 1 TV is only about 15 feet from splitter, and the other 2 are 50 feet? Is there such a thing as a 3-way line amp, or do I need to buy a 4-way line amp and use a terminator for the unused one?

Milwaukee HDTV Technical Issues / OTA antenna to 3 TV's
Saturday Sep 18, 2004, 05:09:59 PM
I installed a Winegard OTA antenna(VHF & UHF) antenna to my HDTV set a few months ago, and it has worked great. A couple days ago, I added a 3-way splitter to run to an analog set, and a front projector. The run from splitter to HDTV set is about 15 feet. From splitter to analog set & projector(with Dish Network 811 HD receiver) are both 50 feet. It appears I now need an amp of some sort to pick up all the channels I was getting before I split signal. I need some advice what type of amp to get, and it will be mounted in crawl space, so it will be inconvenient to adjust. Thanks for any input.

Milwaukee HDTV Technical Issues / Attenuator

Is an attenuator the same as an amplifier with adjustable gain? I too am having trouble with Fox digital starting yesterday for some reason. Thanks.
