Looks like Comcast will sell our market to Charter should this deal go down.

Milwaukee HDTV Equipment / In the Market for a new TV
Monday Sep 12, 2011, 04:30:52 PM
Any retailers still have the KUROs in stock?

Bought my 60" KURO 3 years ago and there hasn't been anything that's come out since that can beat it.

Milwaukee HDTV Programming / WISN to go HD in a few weeks
Friday Jun 17, 2011, 06:12:45 PM
Quote from: Xizer;57455I don't want to gloat but I called it! :D

90% of those who voted in the poll called it. Quite a big accomplishment for you. Way to go out on a ledge...

Quote from: Bluto;57320Can a mod clean this crap up?  Thanks.

Just ban Xizer. He's just a troll (and doing a hack job of it too, not the least bit entertaining).

Quote from: WPXE ION;56994Here is an idea. Lets go back a few years before we had all the graphics and just call the place to see if its open. The only exceptions could be schools, major business, events, shelters, food banks, etc.

LOL, I actually got my web site included in the crawl on ch. 6. Said the "office" was closed even though I'm the only person here. Figured I'd take the free promotion if they were going to be so ridiculous as to include all these private businesses.

Milwaukee HDTV Equipment / Blu-ray (suchadeal!)
Saturday Apr 03, 2010, 10:27:19 AM
That was a decent deal. There have been quite a few deals on the cheaper players lately. Newegg had the Toshiba player for $99 a week or two ago as well.

Milwaukee HDTV Recorders & Players / Tivo premiere
Wednesday Mar 31, 2010, 02:09:47 PM
I bought a Premiere w/ the $200 off upgrade offer, but don't plan on setting it up (or even opening it) until they get the software figured out. I have a Series 3, so I'll just use that in the meantime, and if they never fix things, I'll make a few bucks selling the unopened Premiere w/ Lifetime service.

Milwaukee HDTV Technical Issues / Tuning Adaptor Problem??
Saturday Feb 20, 2010, 10:38:02 AM
Yeah just call the main number and when they answer say you need to speak to someone in tier 3 support about a cable card issue. Every time I've done it they've transfered me over with no questions asked. They'll send the signal, have you reboot the TA and TiVo and everything should work.

Deals and Steals / $50 Blu-ray Player!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tuesday Jul 14, 2009, 01:41:40 PM
I'm hearing we'll be seeing Blu-ray players for $49 on Black Friday this year. Obviously they won't be anything great quality-wise, but pretty much everyone will have them under $100 this year.

Milwaukee HDTV Equipment / Plasma?

Love my KURO 60". Got it when prices started to drop before the announcement that they were being discontinued, which of course let to prices shooting back up.

I've been getting 30/1 consistently the last few months.

As for actual usage, I've seen downloads in the ~20Mbps range from quality sources.

Hopefully as King mentions, they might use this deal as the starting point for a deal with TWC.
