Could be too much signal, too many reflections (ghosts), or possible 5G interference.
Don't use an amplified antenna.
Try an attenuator.
Try a 5G filter (blocks 600 Mhz and up)

Some UHF only antennas are pretty good at receiving the upper VHF band. The available signal to noise won't be as good as an actual VHF antenna though. Lightning will affect the VHF band more-so then UHF, especially if your receiving a poor signal to begin with. What is your rough location?

What is your antenna? UHF only?

10 & 36 are still on VHF RF-8. No changes were made since January 2018.

Milwaukee HDTV Technical Issues / Re: power increase

Certainly not much action on this forum.... For what it's worth WVTV is now at full power (1000kW) as of Saturday 9-5-20 at 18:36. Finally got the work completed after months of pandemic delays.

I would benefit from a WITI increase, my SNR is still 28-30 with all the other channels in Milwaukee on a clear day (the worst kind of day for tv), yet Fox6 is usually around 22 and more prone to interference to cars etc, on normal days its around a 24.  This is out in Waukesha with a clearstream 2V on the edge of a second story roof pointed perfectly for max signal across the board and a Winegard pre-amp.

Shouldn't really need a pre-amp in Waukesha. Pre-amps can kill a perfectly usable signal. Plus they amplify any other RF sources in your area and can overload the input to your tuner causing issues with the signals you want to receive. Fox 6 is already at 1000kw on channel 33, they can't go any higher. The channels listed above are for the upcoming "Repack" (Fall of 2019 for Milwaukee).

Should be. I wouldn't suspect they would change channel numbers.

Quote from: Bebop;60143What was the name of the cable company operating in Greenfield before TW bought them? The name is in my head, but I just can't come up with it.

Milwaukee HDTV Programming / Weathernation 68.1

Channel 68.1 WIWN is really broadcasted from VHF channel 5. You'll need an antenna capable of receiving low VHF. An outdoor one would be better with an ample gain factor.

Quote from: Ralph Kramden;60041I bought my Winegard antenna at Skywalker Communications in New Berlin. Yes, they do sell to the general public.

Should also be able to get Digitenna products there as well....
