Has anyone heard what time on the 18th the channels will switch?

IE: Witi at 7am, TMJ at noon, etc.

Or should I just tell the wife to stay on Netflix til I get home from work? ;-)

Yup,   all the "0" stations are stations that took place in the spectrum auction

I was looking for a repack chart showing new & current RF channels, and found it at https://www.rabbitears.info/repackchannels.php?
Milwaukee is market #41 on their list.

Seems to me, the new channels showing up as "0" will be virtual subchannels on one of the listed new RF channels.  I know that list is out there somewhere.

Just a heads-up for antenna users- plan to rescan your TV tuners on October 18th because several local stations are switching frequencies that day.

Along with WISN 12 and Justice Milwaukee, WVTV, WDJT, WPXE, WITI and WTMJ will also move to new frequencies on October 18th:

More information is available here:

Please pass this news on to your friends who also use antennas. :)

As I'm sure everyone has noticed, things have been very quiet here.  I suppose it's somewhat to be expected, since the DTV transition has come and gone.  Even though it is quiet, I have no intention of shutting things down.

I do welcome any thoughts, ideas, suggestions, etc people may have however on how to liven things up though.  It would still be nice to see more activity here.

While looking at the FCC database I noticed that all of the Milwaukee full-power television stations have applied for a power increase.

5  WIWN 48 kW
8  WMVS 70 kW
27 WVTV 1000 kW
28 WISN 1000 kW
29 WDJT 1000 kW
30 WPXE 1000 kW
31 WITI 1000 kW
32 WTMJ 1000 kW

The frequency (analog channel) changes and power increases don't take affect until October 2019.

I simple reboot may fix this too.  After the speed increase takes place on the backend, sometimes its necessary for the modem to reboot to see the new profile
