Blown pixel on new 60V500

I bought a Hitachi 60V500 about a month ago, I was using it this afternoon and I noticed that I have a blown pixel (that's what we call them in the computer world anyway), just a blue dot in the top of the screen.  I assume that is covered under the warranty, do I call American (where I bought it) or Hitachi directly?  Have any of you had this happen?

I doubt it is under warranty. They usually allow a certain amount of dead pixels. If it is under your 30 day return policy, I would go get a new one.

I would be raising some hell if they don't allow the return if you just bought it.
