TV Guides New Format in April

TV Guide is going to re-align its TV listings.

Starting April 11th, TV Guide will start listing programming schedules as a Sunday - Saturday listing as opposed to the Saturday - Friday listing it has been doing since the 50s.

The April 3rd edition of TV Guide will be a special Saturday - Saturday edition (8 full days) to adjust with the new format, and starting with the April 11th edition and every week thereafter it will be a Sunday - Saturday lineup.

I have often why TV Guide always started on Saturdays rather then on Sundays???  To me Sundays is logical since it is the start of a new week.
