Faster reception than standard RG6!

I noticed in this week's Menards ad that they are selling 100' RG6 Quad Shield that offers "3 times faster reception than standard RG6 coaxial".  (301-3777, page 9)

Impressive.  How exactly does that work, by the way?  ;)

I think they enrich the wire with some of those CERN neutrinos. ;-)

RG6 can be better shielded. For long runs gives you less signal loss. Most people can't see the difference but it can be shown with a meter. When it is visible it is like the motion blurr on a LCD. But that would have to be pretty bad. RG6 is also made better by using solid a core copper. Instead of compressed. That gives you the best band width and quality. If you need good wire that is not a bad price I buy it in 1000 foot rolls. Last box was about 59.00. As far as faster reception, that's a bunch of crap. even if it was, you are limited to how fast your TV or cable box responds. Doesn't really help much at all. But I always like to have the best supplies I can when you setup a nice system. Peace of mind. Take care.:)
