From what I've been reading, Nomad will let you transfer DVR recordings to a mobile device... phone, tablets, laptops, etc.  No streaming, at least not initially.

So it will store it on the mobile device?  That could be nice as well - if you are on a plane or somewhere without service it would be nice to still be able to watch your recorded items.
