Mailings have gone out to all subscribers this past week (or weeks) with a pamphlet of the channels lineups, though in my area, nothing really changed at all and the new channels in the their mailing were not even listed in the pamphlet.
The "Coming this summer-more HD channels!" showed only what their website has shown in the notices section, some new, some old:
Cooking HD, DIYHD being added and the Lifetime HD, C&I HD along with the trutvHD coming.

-Last time trutvHD was in place, if only for as short time, all the HD channels were a big mess because their system couldn't handle all the action channels with the basketball.
What will make it different this time?:huh?:

Looking closer at the handout listings for the channel lineup, I do see the former analogue channels of 71-75 and 78 and 80 available only with a digital box box or tuning adapter/cablecard...so maybe that is their solution?

I thought they already had all those channels? Has their website been lying this entire time?

I'm disappointed to see that OWN HD isn't being added. I think it's the only channel U-verse has that they don't.

Not so much lying,

The problem is lack of website updating for the channel notifications.  TWC often puts out the channels that they are working on getting, but at the last minute, there's a negotiating tweak, or some system issue that prevents the station from going up.  What happens is, they think they can still get an agreement, so the channel additions planned just sit there and sit there.  When they talk about new services, there should be a reasonable time frame between when they go on the site, and when they are seen on the guide, and that reasonable time frame often does not happen.

My recommendation to TWC would be don't put new station notices up until you have a deal with the programmers and are within three weeks of official launch.  If there is a snag in the launch, take down the channel(s) involved in the snag, so that customers don't have to wait for two years to find out that it takes that long for Cooking Channel HD to come on board.  Keep your notification notices updated more regularly.

If you don't do the above, it just makes your site look bad with outdated information.
