Pixelation on HD channels in Waukesha

At a friend's place watching some March Madness, with TWC, regular HD box, HDMI connected to the TV, on TNT, CBS, TBS, on the HD channels, the picture will randomly pixel up and it has been getting annoying.  My friend has said this has happened a number of times throughout the past few days.  Has anyone else experienced this.  The regular channels seem to work so that makes me think it is coming from TWC, rather than just the HDMI cable.  They have a new box, since around Christmas.  I know if they call TWC, they'll just say to come in and get a new box.  Let me know if anyone has any ideas.

Actually having the same thing happen with Charter on TiVo and the regular Motorola HD box (both are also on HDMI); random gaps in satellite transmission on all four channels (including TruTV) which take out the sync I have with the radio broadcast. Don't know if it has something to do with the sunspot problems or just the whole thing of getting the kinks out since both CBS and Turner are co-producing the tourney. I'll also note it is NOT happening during commercial breaks on the four channels.

It's a cable problem, no pixelation on any of the Directv channels.  Wisconsin moving on to the SWEET SIXTEEN.:)

I forgot to mention they have a basic scientific atlantic HD DVR box, but yes, it appears to be a cable problem.  They have a tech coming out to check the signal strength and bringing another box just in case.  That was highly annoying while it only looked good half the time on a 46 inch panasonic TV.  Paying for the digital tier you expect it to work, especially for a big sports event.  I will keep you posted.

I hope whatever is done by TWC, it works for you.
Honestly, I think TWC crammed way too many channels into the system and with these basketball games on many more channels than usual and bandwidth is being crammed with lower bitrates due to more action scenes demanding it on more and more HD channels. :(

Ever since these have come on, I have noticed more tearing of picture, drop outs of an entire HD channel right when I was watching it (SYFYHD Saturday afternoon, for example) and heavy pixelation, the likes of which I have never seen on TWC.

Meanwhile, my brother's DirectvHD channels have be rock solid, big surprise.

I agree that TWC has crammed too much crap on their bandwidth.  I had to reset my tuning adaptor thursday and I wondered if since they added TruTV in HD, being a SDV channel, if so many people were trying to tune to it that it got something out of wack.  So far for me, nothing really bad has happened.

I have even got crap going on on the analogue channels now. I checked the signal booster, the other DVRs and everything is fine. I did the reboots and all the crap TWC asks you to do on the phone...its the TruTV HD addition I believe that started it.
