If WTMJ-Channel 4 Had Shown The Super Bowl?! LOL!

Sup All,

Since we almost all agree that WTMJ-channel 4 is the worst on the overkill with weather, school, and business closings that hog up 3/4th's of the screen, let's have some fun!

Suppose they would have shown the Super Bowl?  What would they have done for broadcasting it?  Assume that even the smallest storm was in the forecast, or even a big storm.  If they had been given the rights to broadcast the game, what would they have done?  How would they have done it?

This is just a funny speculation thread, so you can be as imaginative as you like! LOL!

They would have broadcast it like every other NBC affiliate in the country because they wouldn't have been allowed to plaster their own graphics over the national feed for this particular broadcast.

The picture quality would have looked pretty bad compared to most NBC affiliates however because of their awful MPEG2 encoder and low bitrate. WTMJ's programming looks noticeably worse than NBC O&O affiliates despite sometimes having as high as 2 Mbps more bitrate. My theory is that they got a Walmart encoder and the O&O NBCs get top-of-the-line encoders .
