I'm old and I DO care about HD (& it may surprise you that I have a HD TV!) That is why I go to Madison for news in highdef

Quote from: REVM1M;56675Some people who don't know too much about HD, think they are watching CH12 news in HD. WISN 12 is getting away with this scam and should be punished for it by people NOT WATCHING THEIR NEWS CAST.:bang::bang:

How exactly are they scamming people when they have never once mentioned or referred to being HD in any way?

The true scammers are WTMJ where their reporters always used to end their reports with "Today's TMJ4 HD", even though none of the live shots were in HD - and most weren't even close to being good 16:9 SD. (Last time I checked on their news, it seems they have stopped saying that though).  They also have that HD bug plastered on the screen all the time, again through the poor quality SD live shots.  Back when they went "HD" I started to watch TMJ4, but quickly couldn't stand their style of news and went back to WISN even though they were still 4:3.

Yes it's too bad that WISN is only 16:9 SD, and I really look forward to them going HD (hopefully soon), but for me they are the best local news to watch - although Ch 6 is starting to appeal to me - especially since they have great PQ and are doing real HD throughout most of the newscast.
