Season Pass of Clark Howard

I have set a season pass for Clark Howard.  For those who do not know he has an hour show on HLN on the weekend, except what is weird is it plays about 3 times on both Saturday and Sunday.  I would love it so that the Tivo would only record the first show.  I have it set to record First Run only but noticed that the Tivo does not see it as New or Rerun.  Any idea how to set it for only the first one?

You have to set up a manual recording on TiVo to do this, so set up one to record every Saturday at noon-1pm. It's pretty much the only way you can tape "The Daily Show" without aggravation because MTV networks are notorious for keeping the "new" flag on every airing of their series.

I record the 5:00 A.M. program on Saturdays.  There is a smaller chance the breaking news thing will bump the program.

I think there is some minor differences between that program and some of the other feeds.  I think that may cause the "new" flag to be reset.

I dont know about how Tivo works but with DISH you would set it to 'weekly' if the show is, indeed, a weekly program which it seems to be.
