Tivo and Uverse

I think I asked this before, so I apologize, but please refresh my memory.  Is Tivo compatible with Uverse?   I kind of remember someone saying it was indirectly where you still need to use the Uverse box and hook it up to Tivo.  I ask just to research pay TV service again, but will most likely stick with OTA.  Have a great long weekend

You'll need a box from AT&T and only the series 1/2 Tivos will work (no HD).  The only 3rd party box that will work with U-verse (someday) is the XBOX 360, and it probably won't be able to function as a DVR (only a client to the main DVR).
