Anyone else having signal issues with National Geographic HD? All day today the picture has been breaking up, and I keep losing the signal unless I go to another channel and then tune back again. (I'm guessing something to do with a switched digital video type issue.)

I'm curious if anyone else is having this problem before I waste time with a service call. Last time we had a tech out he added a drop amp before the house's splitter, and said we now have a great signal.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for asking.  I haven't check that out today, but I will for sure.  I think it's more of an signal/transmission issue with that one channel, and normally, I have seen these little annoyances work themselves out within maybe two days, tops.

It sounds like an SDV issue.  We get breakups here in Brookfield for about a day or so when they are preparing new channels, than everything clears up like it never happened.

The other thing that I do, is if it's an HD channel, I'll just temporarily switch to the SD channel and than later in the day, it's fine again.

How is National Geographic-HD now?  No problems here.
