Quote from: Xizer;55959Also you realize of course the scene does keep on top of Smackdown, why don't you just grab WWE.Friday.Night.Smackdown.2010.07.30.720p.HDTV.x264-433 until your MyNetworkTV affiliate can get its **** together? Yeah, I know, it's a crappy scene encode but My24's PQ was nothing to write home about anyway.

iv been downloading them since episode 07-23 thank you for helping

Thank you Jim,

Yes, I would rather have an SD channel with the programs back on the air other than the alternative, "Well, we can't do any programing at all for 3-4 weeks (a blank screen) because of flood damage." They have to make sure that people are OK, assess property damage and clean up costs.  Than they can work on getting the HD signal back up.

Jack your right its better than nothing, jim and the guys are doing everything they can, its not easy at all. what upsets me is local stations dont always have the manpower or funding to get the job done faster, its not there fault, its the way it is,

Xizer

Well get a satellite dish and grab the national feeds then

Never assume anything, unless you know how all local stations operate. Feel free to drop off a few dollars if you think it will go quicker.

An idea how deep........

We all wear multiple hats these days. I'm sure its that way at most companies.

Rumor has it they had 3 feet of water in the studio over there at 18/24 so it will take time to get back to normal.

if you read my other posts I never said anything bad about my network, I was just taking about locals, if taking about the lack of funding and the truth makes me wear multiple hats so be it

What makes you think it's because of a lack of funding? Cleaning the filth and making it safe is the first priority and it's not being done by us. This doesn't happen overnight no matter how much money you throw at it.

I just want to say that many people came to aid of WVTV and WGCV to help get them back on the air.  You can't tell me that if this happened to your house, that you would have everything back to normal in a few days.  A TV station is very expensive and complicated.  I'm sure that there is an insurance company is involved.  We all know that can take some time.

Umm... why does CW18 have 448 Kbps stereo sound now? I thought the CW had DD5.1? Looks like it's not completely back yet :(
