WTF is going on with my Charter lineup? ESPN Classic, which used to be on 27, is no longer in the lineup, and Nat Geo, which used to be on 74, is now on 27. Plus, on Clear QAM, I'm now getting a channel on 22-1 that plays instrumental music and says iNDEMAND NETWORKS HDPPV.

See, this is why I really don't like how Charter delivers their programming changes...

A letter came in mid-June describing channel changes, one which could be easily discarded off-hand because it looked like another Win with Charter begging letter. And since they don't use the Weather Channel ticker to announce changes beyond the vaguest wording possible, you probably didn't see that either except for them crowing about adding two HD channels. The changes went into effect this morning.

Basically they added a grand total of two HD channels (the much 'demanded' Disney and Science Channels in HD :rof:), rectified the mistake of never having BET on their systems by adding it to the digital music network tier, and then to get bandwidth for those two 'awesome' HD channels, took channel 74's analog bandwidth, moved whatever was on channel 74 (where I am it's Style) to 27, and bumped ESPN Classic to the digital sports tier on channel 312, where now you get to pay $5 to get it along with all the other sports and outdoors channels.

Oh, and Charter customers also lost MAVTV (aka the channel loathed by TWC'ers as the one that kicked HDNet off their systems), but nobody is weeping that loss.

As for why QAM is now showing the HDPPV card? Yet more stupidity by Charter's lineup filter. I really loathe how now every time you accidently hit a fourth number on the remote you don't get a second chance to type the channel, but redirected to the EAS channel on 1370.

Thanks for the info. I guess Charter really doesn't care about keeping or bringing in new customers. First, with adding Disney HD and Science Channel HD, now this. They just lost a few more customers.

I would never recommend them to anybody.:bang:
