TMZ replaces Seinfeld on FOX 6

As of today, TMZ is now in the 6:30pm timeslot on FOX 6, replacing Seinfeld. One thing I don't understand is that WITI aired a TMZ commercial in HD during the 6pm newscast, but TMZ is being shown in SD. Anybody know what's going on?

TMZ doesn't broadcast in HD. WITI's promotions department would have upconverted it and done something to fill the 16:9 area in the promo.

They probably just took some HD footage of Jane Lynch they filmed while Nicole Koglin was in LA for the Idol finale and recast it as an in-house TMZ promo, thus the long odd silence.
