I saw that!

Actually, the newest version of Passport has that three-tier'd information screen.

Information and article here:

In that view, the information looks a little overwhelming, but I understand you can choose from different display formats.  TWC really needs to get with the program and do something to make Navigator look, geez, I'd settle for 2006.  Just give me what Passport used to have:

A better Keyboard Search with the ability to search by Keywords in program descriptions.

Longer program descriptions that don't cut off or look like something off of Twitter.

A Sports Now Category in Navigator's Access Menu that ISN'T truncated and actually has ALL the sports shows that are playing now, not the same 4 or 5 stations that show up.

The ability to set up Manual Recording Times that over-ride the time-grid for instances where you only want to record part of a show.  Navigator can't seem to keep up with instances where programs are delayed or pre-empted because of things like a Presidential Address or a Rain Delay of a Sports Series.  It takes the guide 24 hours to sometimes even populate with accurate data and many times the data isn't even accurate or doesn't show.

"No Shows Are Available For This Title?"

Search results that don't repeat the same title 15 times where you have to Select each title to see what the show is or the team that is playing.  That's ridiculous!

And really the stuff could be fixed very quickly if TWC would actually hire competent program developers and software engineers.  They need to put away the sales pitch pom-poms of over-exaggerating features 90% of the features that already existed in Passport, five years ago.

Navigator SHOULD be represented of the type of guide that Cox is getting this summer, or that Passport has now!  It has taken TWC five years to get Navigator up to an average standard and they STILL don't have many basic features on the system that were a part of Passport six years ago.

They haven't rolled out any updates or improvements to the guide for at least six months to a year.  And what has really changed, a new color scheme from the old, all-blue on-blue format when first released.  Yea, some evolution.  WOOOOPIE!
