Where Is Our Dreaded Lake Effect Snow?

So, we got our 3-4 inches of smow overnight and this morning, but Storm Team 4 and all the others PROMISED us a vicious whip-around, reverse whatever -- AKA anothe 5 inches of Lake Effect Snow.  But, where is it?  I'm right downtown, with no snow falling, partly cloudy, partly sunny, but the darn snow has gone away.

Anyone see it?

I didn't watch any TV today, but I wonder how many events got cancelled.  Anyway, it looks as though we made it through another storm of the century, or whatever they're going to call it.

Mother Nature changed her mind...   Even with all the high priced computer software and other equipment, weather forecasting is a imperfect science, and prone to be inaccurate..

On the border between Milwaukee and Ozaukee counties, we got some, and plowed and shoveled our way out this AM.  The local stations overplayed it, as usual, but I've about given up on whining about that, since it does no good.

I do know that CH 7 said they'd be back on the air at 4:00 AM today, and I assume the others were similarly dramatic.

Roads and all were in decent shape; City of Milwaukee plowing is abysmal, as usual.

Same here, Over an hour snow blowing waist high snow drifts and digging out a drifted over car in the driveway before I could blow that.

All before going to work. Early to bed tonight that's for sure.
