{cheers} Fox 6 made the switch to HD Saturday night 12/5 for our 9p & 10p newscasts. This has been a long and expensive project that has now paid off with the ability for HD in the studio, with our weather graphics, and in most cases from our live shots.

Our goal is to provide as much HD content as possible, SD content will be in 4x3 format with side flags.

In addition, Our DTV antenna project is now complete as of early November which is providing better coverage for our OTA viewers.  Thanks for all of your feedback.

Thanks for all the antennae improvements and telling us you are finally done. I live W131 S3400 in New Berlin and am growing quite tired of OTA DTV interruptions on WITI/FOX. I didn't have time to watch much of anything last week. I'll let you know if it works for me. But once you have HD in the studio, why aren't all your studio broadcasts in HD?

All studio productions are in HD - if they aren't it may be a rerun (and old Gus show etc).

The HD news looks good.

Now Fox6 should work on the various lip sync issues during the newscast and other times.

During the news many of the previously recorded clips and remote feeds have lip sync issues.
When returning to the live feed lip sync returns to acceptable.

Also one commercial may have lip sync issues, yet the following consecutive commercial won't.

Not to mention lip sync issues during reruns, like the Dec. 19th 5:00 PM House broadcast.
It was like watching a Japanese movie with dubbed English. The video was waaaaay ahead of the audio.

The lip sync problem during the news, telegraphs to the audience that a recorded segment is being run, even though it may seem to be live.

For example, the Dec 22 or 23 Money Matters segment on the morning broadcast.
The errant lip sync tipped off viewers that it was recorded, and then the recording abruptly ended
before it's conclusion because of technical difficulty.
