These are the channels listed under "New Services cannot be accessed without a Cable Card...." on the website.  The channels that are not listed here are in placeholder test mode. (You can reply in the TWC Test Mode Thread I made about those, when they show up.)

But look at what else may be coming!!!!!

MTV HD, Comedy Central HD, Spike HD, BET HD, Nickelodeon HD, VH1 HD, CMT HD.

Comedy Central HD and Spike HD!!!!!!!

Maybe by or before January I would guess!!!!

Looks like TWC is following the method you, Jack 1000, mentioned before, it put placeholders in, then activates them in those slots, then makes them "real" with the corrected HD channel numberings after a week or so...same should hold true for these, too, soon.

You are correct, I believe, in your assumption that January is when they will have these newer HD channels, as these new Viacom HD offerings were never mentioned until now. Nothing was mentioned in those flyers or notices we had before with the new HD channels we have already as these were still in negotiation.
TWC locally has had its hands full, so to speak, adding more and more HD channels with the first batch that were due by the end of the year, which they did add, plus now the FuseHD, HBO2, etc., now the Viacom HD channels (third batch?)

Anything new that comes along is welcome, it seems not everyone will like the all the new additions, but the way TWC is mixing it up, there is at least one, if not more, HD channel addition that will be liked and watched of each new batch.

My only hope is that with their SDV application, TWC makes it less painful to watch these new HD additions as they tweak them, than in the past.

Hey and plus there is a rumor that the Navigator Guide may be getting some new features sometime first Quarter of 2010.  But I think they will do the new HD stations before the guide updates.  We usually get IPG updates about a month after San Diego rolls out with them.  But keep in mind that just because a corporate decision is made about this, DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY mean that local divisions will see the change.  I am just going on what past experience has been.

GP, so if they add those Viacom channels, we should almost be up to 80 HD stations!  The big ones I always wanted are Comedy Central HD and Spike TV HD, so right now when those are added, I will be THRILLED with the HD offerings of TWC.  Maybe other providers might still have about 10-20 more stations, but what else would they have that would really be good?  Just trying to think here.  Maybe WGN America.  Well, there's always more hope for 2010.  So I want to thank TWC for these new channel additions!
