A friend had poor Ch 6 OTA Signal, Drop Outs and Pixelization. His wife called Ch 6 and they said to Re-Scan. They did and signal is now OK. How would a Re-Scan for a channel that was already in memory improve reception.

I noticed yesterday that WUWM radio was weak, and Sunday morning (before football!), CH6 OTA was off the air.  I'm guessing that they've been doing more work on their antenna, and WUWM had to reduce power while workers were up there.  Just a guess, though.

My money's on the antenna work.  WUWM outages were roughly Saturday, 8:30 - 12:00, Sunday 8:30 - I don't know and Monday 8:30 - 3-something.  Give or take.  I think the re-scan is a red herring unless they are simulcasting on two different channels.  But I don't know much.

is that why I can't see channel 6.1 today?
