Hey All,

TWC has added Retro TV Network (the OTA digital channel 6.2) that shows classic sitcoms from the 50's-80's to its Southeast/Metro Wisconsin line-up on channel 991.  (This should also be the channel it's on when the line-up changes to become Theme based October 13.)

However, customers/techs, please note that the program guide listings are totally wrong! (Retro TV's has different programing depending on the state/ municipality where it is.)  The techs must have programed the guide accidentally with the wrong set of listings! (This could affect DVR recordings on this channel if not changed soon to reflect the correct program information.)

Here is the correct schedule for the 4th Quarter 2009 for Milwaukee:

This link will take you to the local website for Milwaukee:

Next, click on the link that says, "Schedule PDF" (Requires Adobe Reader or Equivalent PDF software to view.)  What follows are the correct listings for our area.  I also found the correct listings today, in the Milwaukee-Journal Sentinel-TV Cue Section.

They should be able to get that ironed out in the next few days (sounds like TWC plugged in the default national schedule instead of those specifically for WITI-DT2 or the listings are an hour ahead or behind). It was like that when Charter added it first in August for a few weeks then it was soon corrected.

The listings seem to be correct now.  Thank you TWC.

I  now hope that TWC and Retro TV can provide specific episode descriptions for the channel.  As you'll notice, all that is presented is generic information concerning what a show is about.  Often with new channel data, when the cable head-end does not have episode data for a series, the default is to use generic information.

I checked sites like TV Guide and Titan TV and because the channel is so new, and the new TWC line-up has not been transferred to external sites, there is no specific episode guide data for the channel.  I am hoping by next month this can be resolved.
