Ok so did CW change frequency when the digital switch happened I had it all perfect on my media center pc but after that date I no longer get it and I believe it's cause my CW is locked on the wrong frequency, I lost it on my converter boxes to but a rescan cleaned them up and my media center won't pick it up anymore, I noticed on the converter boxes the frequency was like 61 orsomething then when it came back it was 18, anyone know how to change the frequency of an already assigned channel in media center? I love CW and need some help.

CW18 changed from 61 and moved it to their old analog channel 18. So now DT operations for CW18 are now on 18.

Check this thread....... I personally haven't tried this but it's worth a shot.

Manually removing and adding a existing channel

1) Remove channels from the file atscchannels.xml (this is important as you won't be able to do step 2 if the channel i.e. 9-1 already is there)

C:\Users\All Users\Microsoft\eHome\EPG\prefs\atscchannels.xml

This is the file that gets created when you initally setup TV by the guide data

2) add them using the correct fequency manually

Guide-->Add Missing Channels-->Add DTV Channel

9-1 Frequency 9

7-1 Frequency 7

they will then show up in the

C:\Users\All Users\Microsoft\eHome\EPG\prefs\atscprefs.xm

This is the file that contains manually added channels

The key is to get the correct frequency from some place like antennaweb.org

<>the frequency for channel 9 is now 9, channel 7 is 7
