Anyone else been noticing that NBC HD via TWC is drooping the sound very often while watching their prime-time programing.

I am using TWC cablecards installed in a TiVo.  I know if I go to TWC they will say it is a NBC issue or a TiVo issue.  I wanted to know if anyone else has noticed the issue.

I've noticed this for quite some time; it isn't just audio that I can tell. There is a repeated (every 20-40 minutes or so) momentary signal loss... it's usually a second or less, but then it takes a second for the MPEG stream to recover. And it definitely only seems to affect WTMJ-DT - none of the other stations seem to have the same issue.

It's been one of those annoyances that I've not taken the time to do anything about, and at this point, I think TWC is sick of hearing from me. :)

I think it might have something to do with when there is a switch between the server and the weather graphics on 4.2, the multiplexor doesn't like it and the signal is affected on 4.1.

I have noticed it for the past couple of months as well.  There is a video glitch as well as the audio dropout.  It affects TW cable, and also OTA.

The idea that it is something happening on 4.2 is interesting.  I never thought of that before.
