Anyone know how to get MLB Network?  I had it for a few days (the tech turned on all services when he installed my TiVo Tuning Adapter) since then it is gone.  I was under the impression it was a Switched Digital Video channel - but am I to believe that that you need additional packages to receive it?

MLB HD Launced today as well on TWC but all I get is a blank screen.

You mean that MLB network on TWC is not 24/7?  We get it on DirecTV free with the basic package 24/7.

spolebitski

Yes with TWC.  I thought since the cable companies have some type of stake in the network that it was going to be on your standard package ... but I guess I was wrong.

Well, I can tell you that I'm on Digital Standard (formerly DigiPIC 1000) with the HD Package, and I get MLB Network here on my cable box.

MLB HD launched today as well on TWC but all I get is a blank screen.

MLB-HD should be on TWC Channel 583: launched today.

MLB-SD should be on channel 122.  It is part of Digital Service, NOT part of the optional Digital Sports Package.

If your feed is out, reboot your box.  If it's still out, call TWC to activate the channel.  Yes MLB on TWC is on 24x7.

Correct. The MLB & NBA Networks do not require the sports package.

The sports package includes: NHL, Tennis, CSTV, the regional FSNs, and a few others I can't think of right now.

Really, NBA is not part of the sports package?  When I got the cable, the NBA package was listed in the Sports Package line up.  Maybe they could be doing a Free Preview for March Madness or something.  And I remember the only reason why I was interested in paying the added $5 was to watch The White Shadow on NBA today. hahaha!  Maybe they changed something or you get a "free" channel.

Dunno. I've never bought the sports pak and have always had it. Other than switching some premiums around (HBO, Sho, etc.)  my package has been the same for like 4 years, the 200 digital pak & HD pak.

Do you get espnews? I do but it's also listed as part of the sports pak on the website.

That's cool, maybe you got a freebie.  The Sports Package is normally $4.95/mo. extra.  Actually, I might drop it at some point in the future because Tennis is the only thing that anyone in my family watches on that package.

The Sports Tier is channels 106-120?  I get ESPN News.  Do you get all those channels in that range?

As I mentioned just above, I do. I do not have the sports package; the only thing I have is Digital Standard, HD Package and DVR service.

I believe that MLB network comes with the expanded package.  The normal package goes from like channel 2 to 104, but then the expanded is through channel 200.

Also I noticed that the first day or two MLB HD was black on my tivo series 3, but after a few days it works fine.
