Apparently they have upgraded their weather crawl to 16x9 now as well; it looks like it still stretches the screen however...

At least it's a step in the right direction!

Watching the 3:00 news right now, and it looks as if there having some problems. Their map bug showing the counties in pink in the upper left is fading on and off. Also, no messages are scrolling. Currently, as of 3:03, its a blank blue bar.

I heard WTMJ automated the production of their newscasts, so maybe that was causing problems (which automation often does).
