I had to catch a plane, Wednesday, and our TV weather prophets did their best to scare me.  here was this big storm coming -- starting Tuesday night, and really pounding us on Wednesday.  So, up at 4:30 AM Wednesday, and next to nothing had happened, and I gather that such was the case most or all of Wednesday.

From 5:00 AM on, TMJ had a solid weather program reporting (earnestly) next to nothing.  A big waste of time and money, and it is happening over and over again.

One thing people forget....  Weather forecasting, for all the millions of dollars in satellites, computer software and other high tech equipment is still just a guess..  An educated guess mind you, but they are trying to predict the future based on mathematical equations and computer models.

If you watched the weather over the past few days, they forecast kept changing, initally it was 6-10" by Wed. evening, then it was 3-5...  I didn't really watch the news Tuesday night, so I don't know what the forecast was at that point.

As much as they try to get it right....sometimes they are not...

Please. They have no clue what they are doing. They are among the most overpaid and most useless individuals there are.
If you really want to know what the weather forecast is, go to a nursing home or what ever they call themselves these days. Take a poll of the residents on their aches and pains and on their memories and you will have a much more accurate forecast than what the overpriced babblers will tell you.

Weather forecasters, excuse me 'meteorologists' have job security like no one else. What other profession allows you to be wrong 50%(or more) of the time and you can still keep your job.:huh?:

So....maybe FOX6 should hire this person as their new weatherman:

Professional baseball player. One only needs to hit and reach base safely 30% of the time to be great.
