Heh - I'm watching this "nightlight" programming on WCGV and WVTV analog. While it is informative and helpful for those who haven't gotten their converter boxes... does anyone else get a sort of apocalyptic, "we left this message for those of you still alive" sort of vibe to it?

Also - what is the point to the sign language when the program is open captioned in English and Spanish?

To cover every base, especially with the pre-1992 TV's which don't have the CC chip integrated into the sets. Better to be overly safe than sorry when it comes to these things.

Yeap! Thats all you well get on analog chs. 18 and 24 from now on is this video repeating itself over and over every 20 mins until Jimboy decides to hit the large circuit breakers in the transmitter building to the OFF position!

This should have been part of the plan from day 1 ... nightlight for a week or so.  Remaining analog broadcasters should to start nightlighting on the first of June.  It's programming, isn't it?

It's _open_ captioned. As in, subtitled. No CC chip necessary.
