I am trying to watch the College basketball game today on CBS, 58-1, and getting all kinds of audio problems.  About every 3-4 seconds there is a short audio drop.  I was about to blame it on my AM21 OTA tuner with the directV box, but then I tried all the other OTA channels with the AM21 and they were fine.  Then I tried watching CBS58 HD over directv through a little trick and it had the same audio issues?

I assume there's a problem with the OTA feed coming from CBS58?  Anyone else having this issue?  It seems both myself in Pewaukee and the D* pickup antenna downtown are.

It appears to be a problem with CBS 58 digital. I watch OTA and 58.1 has the audio problem. I checked 23 out of Rockford and that's fine, so it's not a CBS issue. Analog 58 OTA seems fine.

I'm sure someone has been dispatched to Staples to pick up another box of paper clips and chewing gum. :p

its definitely the OTA feed because we were experiencing the same hiccups with TWC & OTA during the game.

It's definetly a DTV broadcast issue with channel 58.

They just flipped over to SD on 58.1 to run a crawler on the bottom telling us it's snowing (no!  REALLY?) and the audio blips vanished.   When they reverted to HD, it started back up again.

Signal strength seems normal.  But their program data is screwed it.  The golf broadcast is labeled as "College Basketball."

Looks like they've fixed the audio problem and are back to glorious HD widescreen goodness.  Why can't it be like this all the time?

Now if they can just do something about the really freak'n loud commericals!

Golf is on now but I notice it is skipping a frame every few seconds... Now this could be the known AM-21 OTA tuner issue.
