Analog shutdown before June 12?

Well, it looks like the great analog shutoff is being delayed until 6/12. Can't help but wonder though - there's nothing stopping the stations from turning off their analog transmitters before then. Any chance some of them might go ahead with the February 17 date or some other date before 6/12 anymore?

Would be nice if channel 49 would cut off its analog signal and crank up the power on the digital signal in Lincoln Park. I can't see any reason why not. The station generates no ad revenue and large portions of the metro area can't receive it, either analog or digital, over the air. Why not just go all digital now?
