CBS HD sports on Directv!

It's all about flipping the switch.

Nobody ever said the signal on the satellite doesn't exist. It's just that D* hasn't got the permission to turn it on.

Prudence on D* part would indicate having the "placeholder" there for the eventual flipping of the switch.  

Not to be confused with Wiegel flipping off it's viewers. :eek:

Well I finally got to use this today. Sure enough CBS was on Sports Mix 205 and when I tune to it I get the HD version of our CBS 58. It only works on my HR-21. On my H-20 it will tune it for a moment then kick me back to 205.  Very awesome but frustrating to know we COULD have it all the time..

Confirmed. Same here. Looks very good! Can't check out the H-21 cuz the wife is watching some turkey day special. Will check it out a bit later.

DTV customers should be able to get Alabama/Florida in HD by selecting the game via the 205 sports mix.
